High Altitude Cross-Country Runs with Views and Guaranteed Snow

• Rosskopf near Sterzing: This 6.5km long, extremely varied circular run starts at the mountain station of the Rosskopf cable car above Sterzing. Snow is guaranteed at an altitude of about 2000m and there are magnificent views all along the way.

• Plätz Meadow near Prags: At an altitude of 2000m, this run takes in the picturesque  plateaus at the feet of the mighty Hohe Gaisl and Dürrenstein peaks in the Fanes Sennes Prags Nature Park. Predominantly easy with medium-difficult segments. Doubtless one of the most beautiful runs, in terms of scenery.

• Haunold High Run near Innichen: A 3.5km long, medium difficult circular run from the Haunold mountain station at an altitude of around 1500m. Reachable by lift from Innichen.
