Seiser Alm mountain pasture: This idyllic high alpine pasture at the foot of
the Schlern is known as a walker’s paradise and thus it offers equally ideal conditions in winter for cross-country skiers. At an altitude of
around 2000 metres there’s hardly a lack of snow and the romantic
mountain landscape provides the ideal background. But don’t be fooled by
the delights of the scenery. You´ll often find a demanding passage among the
60km run. Since 01/01/09 you have to pay 4 € for using the runs.
Alta Badia: this valley, framed by the majestic peaks of
the Dolomites, thanks the wonderful ski slopes for its popularity. The cross-country
centre in Armentarola offers top conditions: 13 kilometres of truly
varied cross-country skiing stretch out between St. Kassien and the Valparola pass, taking you over alpine pastures and woodland stretches.
The Southern Tyrolean cross-country skiing legend, Maria Canins, also
trains here.

Lüsner Pasture: This little cross-country skier’s paradise
is hidden away on the north side of the Plose, Brixen’s local mountain.
Alongside the 7.5 kilometres long circular run, the open plateaus of
the Lüsner Pasture offer even more variants, as far as the neighbouring
Rodenecker Pasture. Beautiful scenery, beautiful views and winter sport
with no stress or tailbacks.
Martell Valley: One of the most unspoilt of the Southern Tyrolean valleys and a first class cross-country skiing area. At least 12 kilometres of cross-country terrain stretch out around the Cross-Country and Biathlon Centre at an altitude of 1700 metres, most of which are a true sporting challenge with guaranteed snow.
Langtaufers Valley: This quiet side valley on the Reschen Lake is a real tip-off. Not only because the 15km long circular run at between 1700 and 1900 metres guarantees the best snow conditions. There is also the authentic and highly romantic mountain scenery of the valley, which is little known among tourists.
