Mountain bikers feel fine in Taufers im Münstertal. There they can undertake countless tours around the village, to Switzerland, Austria or other Italian regions.

Some of the mountain bike tours are long and partially also Transalp-stages. To "normal bikers" we present here a easy and very panoramic bike tour in Vinschgau Valley.

The mountain bike tour

The tour starts in Burgeis. Pedal on the Vinschgau-cycling trail to Haidersee Lake. At the beginning of the lake, turn to the left and go into Zerzertal Valley. There, on forest track 4, you pass the wonderful Pfaffensee Lakes and come to the Plantapatsch Refuge, where you can take a break and enjoy the great view.

The downhill stage is demanding. You have to follow the tobogganing-run to the valley station of Watles skiing resort. There you take the Schlininger road to monastery Marienberg and to the starting point Burgeis.

The bike tour is 25 km long. You will need 4 hours for the entire tour.
