From Schluderns to Mt. Köpflerpatte

In Schluderns there is the famous and renowned Churburg Castle, a sight you absolutely have to visit. Apart of that Schluderns offers many interesting attractions especially for excursionists. For inctance the Mt. Köpflerplatte.

The excursion

First of all you have to drive from Schluderns to Vernatsch. There starts path 21b, which leads you to the panorama-point Platzass. After a short break you continue your way towards “Äußere Alm”-alpine pasture, where you have to take path 24b. Follow the path until arrive at a clearing. At the left side of it take path 21a and climb Mt. Köpflerplatte.

To turn back you walk to the tree limit. Turn left and walk to “Kalterer Brunnen”. Take path 21 there and go on until you arrive at the “Innere Alm”-alpine pasture. From now on take the same way as to get there.
