Trail-tour in Schlanders

Some like it hot. At least the ones, who like demanding downhill-trails instead of pedaling upward. And hot becomes the brakes of your bike: you know well that also during fast down-hilling tracks sometimes you have to apply them!

The mountain bike tour

The Schlanders-trail-tour begins at the Haslhof farm bar at 1580 m above sea level. Get there on the asphalted road from Göflan near Schlanders. Behind the farm bar begins a country lane. Follow him till the end and take then the forest track downwards. Stop at the 5th hairpin bend: here starts the first demanding downhill track of this tour! Attention: the trail ends in the water paths, where many excursionists hike.

Continue your tour on an asphalted road and climb it for 5 minutes. After the first right-hand-bend you have to take the forest track. Here begins the second downhill track, which is very demanding. It finishes in Holzbrugg, where you get back to Schlanders.

Mountain biking in Schlanders is something for who like not only pedaling upwards but also to rock downwards on pretty fine trails. This tour is 22 km long and lasts 1 hour and a half.
