Excursions in Mals sometimes are a little bit eerie, particularly if you think about the strange goings on the Malettes-grounds, where speaking rabbits life. Let'see if you see or hear one of them!

The excursion

The excursion - recommended to families - begins behind the small church at the northern exit of Mals on a forest track. Following the indication 12 you arrive soon at Malettes-ground, the home of the speaking rabbits. Your children will get excited and will searching everywhere for the rabbits!

If you want to extend your excursion, we recommend hiking to the Mount Spitzige Lun. Follow path 12 to get there. Mt. Spitzige Lun is situated at 2234 m above sea level: relax for a while and enjoy the amzing view over Upper Vinschgau Valley.
To turn back take the large path on the left side and walk to the Muntetschiniger Farm and further on path 14 and 17. Soon you come back to Mals.

The easy hiking-tour lasts 4 and half hour. There are no refuges or shelters: so take care of enough provisions.
