Hiking in Vinschgau Valley

From Kastelbell-Tschars to Marzon-alpine pasture

A long, extreme and exposed excursion is not always the best hiking-tip. Sometimes also short excursions are worthwhile and recommendable.

Like the one from Kastelbell-Tschars to Marzon-alpine pasture in Vinschgau Valley.
This excursion is also suitable for families with little children or older people.

The excursion

The 1 hour-hiking-tour begins in the hamlet Freiberg above Kastelbell Tschars. Park your car at Schlumsberg parking space and take path 7 to the Marzon-alpine pasture. Arrived there, you will be amazed: the view is marvelous, the meadows are blooming and the kids don't get bored. At Marzon-alpine pasture there is a lot to explore! And while the little ones play in the meadows, you can relaxe on the terrace and try some South Tyrolean specialties.

The way back is the same as to get there. For the entire excursion you need 1 hour.
