Wine lovers know Terlan: right, the famous Terlan Sauvignon comes from here, one of the best wines in South Tyrol and the one, who accompanies perfectly the delicious asparagus from Terlan.

You see: a holiday in Terlan is ideal for gourmets. Not only in a culinary sense. Many easy footpaths and cycling trails are leading through vineyards and fruit fields, which particularly in spring are amazing to see.

In April begins the apple-blossom and the green and brown field turns into a white and pink sea. Fantastic! Southern South Tyrol’s apple blossom is one of the most beautiful in South Tyrol.

Lovers of wine, however, visit Terlan in autumn, when the grape harvest begins. Then the wine-tasting-periods begins with many harvest festivals and wine-events.

In winter we recommend to visit the Christmas-markets in Meran and Bozen.
