Discover Terlan and surroundings on the Apple-Cycle-Track

Southern South Tyrol with its orchards and vineyards is often called Garden of Eden and it is a rewarding territory for gourmets and outdoor-sportsmen, too.

Around Terlan, situated on the South Tyrolean Road of Wine, cyclers experience the most beautiful side of Southern South Tyrol on the Apple-Cycle-Track.

The mountain bike tour

Starting point is Terlan. Take the asphalted cycle-track on the right side of the Etsch River and pedal to Vilpian and Gargazon. There you have to cross the bridge and after 100 m also the Road of Wine. Continue your tour cycling to Hotel Krebsbach.

Here begins the Apple-Cycle-Track, which leads you to Nals. After 3 km you reach a cross: take the street towards Nals at the left side and then cycle in direction of Vilpian. Arrived at the bridge, take the Etsch-Cycle Track back to Terlan.

The whole mountain bike tour in Terlan is 25 km long and it’s doable also for not well trained cyclers.
