Situated very central, from Leifers you reach in short time Kaltern, Eppan, Neumarkt, Auer or Salurn: perfect for who likes easy and anyhow advantageous routes.

The mountain bike tour

A very recommendable mountain bike tour is the one from Leifers to Kaltern, Eppan, Frangart and Bozen and return to Leifers. During this tour you cycle through countless vineyards and you will discover many hidden cellars and land-houses, where you can eat excellent.

Absolutely worth seeing is the Sigmundskron Castle, where Reinhold Messner has built one of his Messner Mountain Museums. You will like it!

The entire tour along the most beautiful places in Southern South Tyrol is 48 km long.
