Cycling from Kaltern to Fennberg Lake

Kaltern is often being associated with the homonymous lake, the precious wine and the excellent gastronomy. But also cyclers will feel fine on the many mountain bike routes around Kaltern.

The mountain bike tour, which we are recommending here, brings you from Kaltern to Fennberg Lake and Tramin and it is appropriate to well-trained mountain bikers.

The mountain bike tour

This mountain bike tour is 53 km long. It begins in Kaltern. Passing at St. Anton you reach Graun. Continuing your tour on the asphalted road “Hirschbrunn” you will arrive at the marvelous Fennberg Lake.

To complete your route, take paths 3 and 3a to Magreid and on path 7 to Kurtatsch. From there you pedal to Tramin and after 5 hours you get finally back to Kaltern. You will get over 2100 altimeter.
