From Kohlern to Eggental Valley: mountain biking around Bozen

Bozen, the capital of South Tyrol, is situated in the middle of Southern South Tyrol and it is a worth seeing town because of its arts, culture, architecture and gastronomy.

Around Bozen spreads a rewarding territory for excursionists and cyclers: Jenesien, Ritten and the Dolomites are situated in the vicinity of Bozen. The mountain bike tour

Starting point is the valley station of Kohlern cable car in Bozen. Take the lift to reach Kohlern. Arrived there take the forest track 5 and pedal to the Kofl and Oberrain farms. Continue your tour pedaling to Birchabruck and from there on the Eggental Valley-road towards Bozen. Before you cycle into the tunnel take the path at the right side. After 3 km you reach the Drimmler path 1, along which you turn back to Bozen.

During the 40 km long mountain bike tour you will be amazed because of the romantic Eggental Valley and the breathtaking view over Bozen and surroundings. Enjoy it! For the whole tour you need 4 and a half hour.
