Over the sky: hiking on the round trip trail “Marlinger Höhenweg”

The Marling water path is the longest water path of South Tyrol and he is 250 years old. A lot younger is the round trip trail “Marlinger Höhenweg” which leads you through an amazing and unique landscape.

To enjoy the advantages of both of them, we recommend combining the two hiking-paths in to an only excursion.

The excursion

The easy round trip begins in Töll and leads you along ancient culture-paths to the Greiterhof farm and back to Töll close to Marling. Take the water path and walk along ancient irrigation channels to the farm bars Obermair, Schönblick and Greiterhof, which is the destination of this excursion.

Near Greiterhof you take again the water path and pass the farm bars Waldschenke, Waalheim and Leitenschenke. There the water path lead to the round trip trail “Marlinger Höhenweg” and to path 30, which brings you back to Töll.

For the whole tour you need 4 and a half hours.
