From Dorf Tirol to the Mount Mutspitze

A wonderful view, a not difficult tour and already at the beginning an excellent farm bar: the excursion from Dorf Tirol to the Mount Mutspitze is absolutely recommendable and practicable for the whole family.

The excursion

The hiking-tour begins in Dorf Tirol on the valley-station of the Hochmuth cableway. Take the cableway. Walk at the summit-station on path 22 to the Mutkopf Inn, where you can already taste some South Tyrolean specialties. After that choose path 23 on the left hand of the inn and after an hour and a half of hiking you reach the Mount Mutspitze.

For the way back you have to hike on path 23, which brings you to Taufern gap and on a small section of the “Meraner Höhenweg” a famous round trip trail.

For the entire tour you need 5 hours.
