Excursion from Spinges to Spinges-alpine pasture and Mt. Stoanamandl

Spinges is a small and gorgeous village near Meransen and Mühlbach and impresses mainly because of its originality and traditionalism.

Who loves panoramic excursions will surely feel fine in Spinges particularly after a excursion to Spingeser-alpine pasture and Mt. Stoanamandl.

The excursion

Before you get to Mt. Stoanamandl you have to walk from Spinges on path 9 to Spinges-alpine pasture. In an hour of walk you will arrive there. The Spinges-alpine pasture is one of the most popular hiking area in the Gitschberg-Jochtal-region and accordingly well attended. The alpine pasture is situated at 1814 m above sea level.

Continue your excursion walking northwards and  crossing lovely forests and meadows. After three quarter hours you reach the peak of Mt. Stoanamandl (2135 m above sea level). From there you enjoy a great view over Spinges and surroundings.
