Amazing! The excursion from Ratschings to Wumbls-alpine pasture is an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.

The excursion

Starting point is the Ratschings. Drive your car 4 km in to the Ratschings Valley and park it near on the left side near the beginning of path 10. Follow the path signposted with "Innere Wumbls Alm" and walk on a forest track and then on a small path through a steep forest until you reach the "Micheben" grounds at 1750 m above sea level. Take there the wide track to the Innere Wumbls Alm-alpine pasture. To arrive till here you need 1 hour.

Continue the excursion on path 15 and after a little while you reach the Äußere Wumbls Alm-alpine pasture, the destination of this excursion. Take a break there, relax for a while and enjoy the breathtaking view over Ratschings Valles and over the amazing glaciers in the east.

To return back to the starting point, take the wide track to northeast, cross forests and meadows and on the road junction – near a forest hut – take path 10.

The easy excursion lasts 3 hours.
