From Barbian to Dreikirchen

Starting from Barbian in Eisacktal Valley you reach after an hour of walk one oft the most romantic and peaceful places of South Tyrol, Dreikirchen.

The main attractions are three Churches which are connected by a wooden roof. They were built in the medieval times, the oldest one in 1237. Much more interesting for holidaymakers is the idyllic location of Dreikirchen above Barbian in the middle of silent woods and untouched nature. Here they have enough distance from every day life, from stress at work and from smog in the city: Dreikirchen is closed for traffic.

You reach Dreikirchen starting from Barbian in Eisacktal Valley. There you have to take the path “Bagni tre chiese” and the path nr. 8. You take 1n hour to get to Dreikirchen.
