To the Earth-Pyramids of Terenten

The Earth-Pyramids of Terenten are some of the most interesting highlights in Pustertal Valley and in South Tyrol. They are very popular by families because they are easily reachable and every one will get surprised by this nature wonder.

The earth-pyramids of Terenten and the ones in Percha are the most important in whole Pustertal Valley and absolutely worth seeing. From Terenten you reach them on a short excursion.

The excursion

The excursion begins in center of Terenten. Take the signpost path "Biotop" (1a) and walk to Strickner and Egger farms and finally to Margen. Passing by the Hauserhof Inn you will reach soon the Earth-Pyramids. Don’t forget to shoot some photos: the pyramids are really exciting!

To turn back to Terenten choose the path above the Earth-Pyramids and cross the Terenten Valley. Pass by mills and the Walder farm to return to Terenten. The whole excursion lasts 4 hours.
