St. Christina: holidays in the sun of Gröden!

St. Christina is a lovely village and well known holiday resort and it is situated in the very sunny Gröden Valley in the middle of the Dolomites in South Tyrol.

In summer and in winter: in St. Christina you always know what to do. Maybe because of that St. Christina is so popular. In St. Christina are reigning the differences: on one side new and modern hotels, shops and restaurants and on the other side traditional and ancient farmhouses. This very singular mix of new and old is what makes St. Christina so attractive.

Every year in December in Gröden takes place a FIS-Downhill-Worldcup Race. It belongs to the so called "classics" and it attires thousands ski-fans from all over the world. But also "normal" skiers will enjoy the fantastic and well prepared slopes in St. Christina and in the surrounding Gröden Valley.

In summer however there a lot of mountains to climb: fixed-rope-routes invite you to make first alpinist-experience and many hiking paths to make long or short trekking-tours. Yes, St. Christina and its hotels are worth visiting.
