Sexten, situated in Pustertal Valley on the eastern end of South Tyrol, is a renowned holiday resort already since more than a 100 years. Particularly the surrounding Dolomites peaks are the reason for that.

Why? The famous "Drei Zinnen" are only a few km off and they are a duty for every ambitious climber. But also the mountains of Cristallo, Civetta and Pelmo are soon reached by climbers from Sexten.

In winter however Sexten is a paradise for alpine-skiers and cross-country skiers. The ski areas of Helm and Haunold are relatively sure of snow. Alternatively also Cortina provides pure skiing-pleasure.
