Sexten in the Hochpustertal area is very famous as excursion area. Many excursionists and mountaineers climb from here the Drei Zinnen peaks, Mount Dreischusterspitze or the Cortina-Dolomites. But also for cyclers Sexten in the Dolomites is a rewarding destination.

The mountain bike tour

The tour (also recommended by the tourism office of Sexten) begins in the center of Sexten. You have to pedal through Sexten Valley and to Kreuzberg Pass and from there you come to Mount Rotwand. From here you ride down to Fischleintal Valley on the tobogganing path. Arrived in the valley you cycle back to the starting point Sexten.
