The most famous extreme alpinists come in the Dolomites to climb the fascinating mountains of Rosengarten and Latemar. They are challenging, dangerous and difficult. But also “normal” hikers can enjoy different and easier tours and routes in these renowned mountains.

Rosengarten and Latemar are situated in the southern Dolomites in South Tyrol, reachable via Eggental Valley and Karersee Pass. Countless hiking paths are leading to the two famous mountains or to cozy and traditional huts at the feet of the two.

In winter the area is very attractive for skiers: they can enjoy their winter-sport in the ski-area Obereggen or Latemar, which are part of the Dolomiti Superski association, one of the biggest skiing-assiactions of the world.
