Rosengarten and Latemar are situated in the southern Dolomites in South Tyrol, reachable via Eggental Valley and Karersee Pass. Countless hiking paths are leading to the two famous mountains or to cozy and traditional huts at the feet of the two.

In winter the area is very attractive for skiers: they can enjoy their winter-sport in the ski-areas Obereggen-Latemar and Carezza Ski, which are part of the Dolomiti Superski association, one of the biggest skiing-assiactions of the world.
