The highlight of this demanding mountain bike tour between Rosengarten and Latemar is the Karersee Lake, one of the most marvelous lakes in South Tyrol. The view over it and over the Dolomites-peaks is amazing!

The mountain bike tour

The tour, 42 km long, begins in Obereggen, a small village in Eggental Valley. Follow the signpost tracks to Epircher-alpine pasture, Laner-alpine pasture and pedal to Feudo Pass. From there you have to ride down to Pedrazzo, where you have to cross the main road at the ski-jump and to cycle to Moena and then to Karerpass Pass and finally you reach the Karersee Lake. Don’t forget to shoot some photo! Turn back to Obereggen taking path 21.

For the entire tour around Mount Latemar you need about 6 hours and you will get over 1571 m of difference in altitude.
