The mountain bike tour

The mountain bike tour starts in Pfalzen, it is 24 km long and you will need 3 hours to do it. Starting in the center of Pfalzen you have to cycle to the west in direction of Platten. Take the Platten road and follow it to Platten and to the Lechnerhof Inn. Turn to the right and follow the signpost track to Pitzingeralm-alpine pasture, which is situated at 2036 m above sea level.

Relax there for a little while and enjoy the great view over the mountain region around. You will like it! To return to Pfalzen you have to cycle to Untere Pitzinger Alm and then to Kofler am Kofl Inn. There begins a very steep and challenging trail which brings you down to Pfalzen. The difference in altitude comports 1040 m.
