Pfalzen is a lovely and lively holiday resort in Pustertal Valley in South Tyrol. It is situated near the medieval city of Bruneck on a very sunny plateau.

Pfalzen and any hotel there is a perfect starting points for trekking or biking tours. The most famous peaks of the Tauferer Ahrntal Valley or Dolomites await you and offer challenge in climbing them. For water freaks there is the Issinger Weiher Lake in Pfalzen, a naturally lake in the middle of wonderful meadows and woods. Near the lake in 2007 was built an adventure park.

In winter however Pfalzen offers a lot of outdoor activities in the snow. The village belongs to the Kronplatz holiday area, which unites a wide range of holiday resorts in the Dolomites. Kronplatz skiing area is the biggest one in South Tyrol. Skiing, snowshoeing, sledging or cross country skiing. In Pfalzen and surrounding you can do any winter-sports you like!
