From Innichen to Silvester-alpine pasture

Around Innichen and Toblach the Pustertal Valley becomes larger: lovely meadows and hills forms an interesting contrast with the cliffy Dolomites-mountains. To learn more about the amazing landscape of Hochpustertal Valley we recommend an easy cycling tour from Innichen to Silvester-alpine pasture.

The mountain bike tour

The tour begins at the Kaiserwasser-water factory at the west-end of Innichen. Take the cycling path to Toblach. Arrived at the train station of Toblach cycle to the main road, cross it and pedal to the parish church.

Pedal in direction Wahlen, a small village near Toblach and continue the tour in direction of Enzian hut, where the asphalted road gets into a forest track. Follow the Silvester River and bike into the Silvester Valley until you reach finally the Silvester-alpine pasture, a gorgeous place to relax some hours lying in the sun.
